Secara legalitas, yayasan ini telah berdiri sejak tanggal duapuluh enam Februari tahun duaribu empat (dengan nama yayasan “Robiatul Adawiyah”) Nama Notaris MEISSIE PHOLUAN, SH .
Kemudian di daftar ke KEMENMENKUHAM pada tanggal duapuluh delapan tahun duaribu delapan berubah nama menjadi (yayasan “Robiatul Adawiyah Marunda”) Nama Notaris H. BAMBANG TRISTIANTO, SH. MKn.
